Food & Nutrition Assistance

SNAP

(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

Monthly support to help buy groceries. Apply online at mybenefits.ny.gov or call

(800) 342-3009.

211 Resource Hub

Call 2-1-1 or visit 211neny.org for referrals to food pantries, meal programs, and other local services.

WIC

(Women, Infants & Children)

Nutritional support for pregnant people, postpartum caregivers, and children under 5. Call (800) 522-5006 or visit health.ny.gov/prevention/nutrition/wic.

Catholic Charities SNAP Enrollment Support

A representative is available at the pantry to help walk you through the SNAP application process with care and confidentiality. Call (607) 334-8244 for additional support or visit ccofcc.org.

Utilities and Housing

HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program)

Help with heating and utility bills. Apply at mybenefits.ny.gov or call (800) 342-3009.

Catholic Charities of Chenango County

Offers emergency financial assistance, rental aid, housing counseling, and case management. Call (607) 334-8244.

Unadilla Place (Local Transitional Housing)

If you're experiencing housing insecurity, Unadilla Place may offer temporary shelter and support. Contact the pantry for referral details.

Healthcare and Insurance

Fidelis Care Representative

On-site at the pantry the first Friday of each month to answer questions about Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and other low-cost insurance options. No appointment needed.

New York State of Health

State-run health insurance marketplace. Compare plans and apply at nystateofhealth.ny.gov or call (855) 355-5777.

Chenango Health Network
