Halloween Candy Bags

Every October, the Unadilla Community Food Pantry hosts a Halloween Candy Drive & Giveaway to help ensure all children in our community can join in the fun and excitement of Halloween—regardless of financial circumstance. For many families, costumes and candy can be a stretch during tough times, and we believe every child deserves to enjoy the magic of the season.

Thanks to generous donations from local residents, schools, and businesses, we collect individually wrapped candy and small treats throughout the month of October. Then, in the week leading up to Halloween, we distribute festive candy bags to pantry families with children. These bags are filled with a variety of goodies and packaged with care by our volunteers.

Each candy giveaway event is designed to be fun, safe, and welcoming. Children are encouraged to come dressed in costume, and we often have small surprises, decorations, or giveaways to make the experience…
